The Forge Recyclers mission
Our mission is to make selling scrap metal easy for trades and businesses: a quote from photos, a pick-up from your site, and metal that goes back into use instead of landfill.
Forge Recyclers exists to make selling scrap metal easy for the people who produce it. Trades and businesses are busy. Scrap should not cost them a trailer, a morning at a yard or a guess at its value.
What we set out to do
- Come to you. We collect from your site, so your team stays on the tools.
- Quote first. You send photos, we reply with a quote, and nothing moves until you agree.
- Explain the price. We price by the metal, its grade and the weight, and we tell you what would lift it next time.
- Put metal back into use. Everything we buy goes to recycling and comes back as new metal.
Why it matters
Australia recycles more of its metal than almost any other material. Every tonne we recover is a tonne nobody has to mine again.
- 5.97 million tonnesof metal waste Australia produced in 2022-23DCCEEW
- About 90%of that metal went to recyclingDCCEEW
Those figures come from the national waste report. Our blog explains how scrap metal is recycled once it leaves your site.
