Photos and a few details let us price the load and plan the pick-up.

Send these with your quote request

• A wide photo of the whole pile, plus close-ups of each metal
• Roughly how much: a few drums, a pallet, a ute load or more
• Your location: street and suburb
• How a vehicle reaches the metal: gate, driveway, stairs or loading dock
• Rough sizes of anything long or heavy

The quote form asks for most of this, and you can add the photos to it.

One pick-up for a mixed load

You don't need a separate trip for each metal. Copper, brass, aluminium, steel and iron, cable, motors, radiators, batteries, white goods and other metal appliances, and converters can all go on the same pick-up. If the metals are already sorted into separate piles, we price each one on its own grade. If it all sits in one heap, with machinery, components and wire mixed through it, send photos anyway.

Keep a few things out of the pile, because we don't take them. That means asbestos, explosives, sealed gas cylinders, fuel, corrosive or poisonous chemicals, medical waste, radioactive material and rubbish.

Non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass and aluminium go back into new wire, fittings and castings.
